Hail Storm 6-3-23

Earlier this month, on Saturday, June 3rd, while at work, a huge thunderstorm with hail came down upon us and lasted over 10 minutes. It was quite the sight to behold. All the employees went over to the entrance to our east dock area of the building to witness this. I captured a small bit of it on video. Enjoy!

Dandelions 4/28/23

 

As I was walking up to State Street on Friday, April 28, 2023, to catch the bus home from work, I found myself surrounded on both sides by a vast and beautiful patch of Dandelions. It was the first afternoon with real Spring weather, 70 degrees and I had to stop and capture this. So beautiful!

Hail and Rain at Deseret Industries: 4-24-23

Yesterday, I and my fellow co-workers at Deseret Industries were busy at work when all of a sudden, a hailstorm erupted outside, and I captured a bit of it on video out on our dock area in the back of the building. It was beautiful and breathtaking to behold! Spring has already arrived, and we were having hail while at the same time the beautiful mountains surrounding this beautiful valley were still covered in snow. Beautiful day yesterday!

Bush After a Storm

 

Monday night, 2/21/22, I was walking home from the bus stop after I worked a mid-shift for President's Day, and it had snowed all day. This was taken about 8:30 p.m. and I walked by this bush that I see every day, but when it was covered in snow, I just had to take a photo. So beautiful. I hate snow. I hate the cold and to have to walk in it. But it sure can make some things so beautiful! This took my breath away.

Full Moon Orem 1-14-22

Yesterday morning on my walk to the bus stop in Orem, I was greeted by this orangish full moon. It was absolutely breathtaking!

Sunset at Provo Pioneer Park - Christmas Eve 2021

 Last night as I walked from the bus stop to my place, I passed by Provo's Pioneer Park and the Christmas Lights had just turned on. This park is beautiful at night during the holidays, in fact any night. The sunset was also gorgeous last night!

Thunderstorm 7-19-21

We have been having such a horrific heat weave here in Utah for over two months now. Anywhere between 98-100 degrees for most of the day. It has been so miserable. Well, mother nature looked kindly on us yesterday with a beautiful thunderstorm and some rain. *Happy sigh*

 Here is a photo I took this morning at the bus stop just outside Walmart's in Lindon. I was relaxing after getting off the bus to report to work. Decided to relax and caught the sun beginning to rise. The sky was beautiful and so were the clouds.

I shot this while sitting on my swing in my backyard this morning relaxing before work. Beautiful fall morning. If anyone can figure out what in the world is that little blue flying object flying around the first minute of the video I would love to find out. Wierd!

 

All My Ducks In A Row 8-1-20

There is a canal near my backyard where many ducks swim along and over the course of the summer, two mothers have had babies and the newest ones come up to the edge of my backyard fence to feed on the foliage and a few weeks ago I watched them, quietly from a distance, and they all started to jump down into the yard to feed and then they travel in a bunch along the fence towards the back gate and crawl through the back gate and back to the canal. I finally caught them in the corner of my eye and quietly I got my iPhone out and waited patiently and finally caught their daily routine on video. They are all so adorable!
